YouTube video: Why I’m Restoring My Foreskin
Foreskin restoration is a way to become uncircumcised. That is, a circumcised man can restore his foreskin. Foreskin restoration is a simple process of applying tension to the shaft skin for short periods every day. In a couple years a restored foreskin will grow, allowing a man to regain some of what was lost by being circumcised.
My circumcision was tight. When I started restoring, I had tight erections.I started restoring using manual tugging method 2, a non-surgical way to restore the foreskin. Within a week or two my skin loosened up and became more flexible and mobile. After about 4 or 5 months I had enough slack skin that I changed the way I masturbated. WOW! No more lube. Then I started getting whole body orgasms. I never experienced those before I started restoring. Restoring my foreskin is one of the best things I have ever done for myself.

A partial transcript from a conference on male circumcision. The portion of the transcript reproduced is Gillian Longley’s presentation where she discusses medical ethics, particularly how it relates to elective surgery on non-consenting infants (as if infants could consent). She examines two ethics questions:
- Is it ethically acceptable to alter the natural genitals of a child when no compelling therapeutic reason exists?
- Who is the appropriate person to give permission for elective non‑therapeutic cutting of anyone’s genitals?

I never understood how parents assume that their kid would WANT a part of their penis cut off. These children are infants. Small helpless babies who cannot make decisions (well, unless you take into consideration that they are screaming for help in an operating table) are having a basic human right taken away.
I’ve always said that I would never make such a huge choice like circumcision for my infant son (if I should ever have one). It is not my decision to make nor is it my right. Circumcision is unneeded and their penis is already perfect and functional. If my son came to me as a teenager with an informed decision and said he wanted a circumcision, then I would be glad to listen to his view and let him make the choice about his own body.
Before that? Goodness no. It’s not my body, not my choice. Unless my child (female or male) needs a lifesaving surgery or proceder, I’m not messing with perfection.
I honestly don’t understand the debate that FGM is worse than MGM. I see them as the same, barbaric. You are taking away important sexual tissue from each gender in ways that are completely unnecessary. One is not more worse than the other, they are both horrific. Please, don’t try to justify MGM because they are male and you are letting your societal gender norms tell you that it is alright.
It’s not.
We are all human who deserve equal rights regardless of age.

How to start restoring your foreskin
A short introduction to foreskin restoration for circumcised guys. Foreskin restoration allows men to grow skin to simulate a foreskin. Another aspect of foreskin restoration is regaining the sensitivity lost by having the glans exposed and not protected by the foreskin.
Friendly Atheist: A Question About Circumcision
The Friendly Atheist reposts a portion of another blog that describes one way of looking at circumcision. A comment sums it up well:
A friend of mine recently had a son and was trying to decide what to do and I put it to him this way “If someone told you now, as a grown adult, that they would be removing a piece of your penis with a scalpel and you don’t have a choice in the matter, how hard would you fight to make sure that didn’t happen? Well that’s the way your son would feel if he could understand it, but he’s too small to fight so you’ll have to do it for him.”

Heal blog: Doctors in the Netherlands want safer circumcision procedures
Members of the Royal Dutch Medical Association (KNMG) would like to appeal to human rights defenders and politicians in order to persuade fellow Jewish and Muslim citizens to stop circumcising boys, or at least make the procedure safer.
‘We want to discourage male circumcision, because it is an unnecessary procedure with complications, which violates the integrity of the child.’ Doctors now argue it is also an unsafe and utterly unnecessary procedure, one of its subsequent downsides being a less satisfying sexual life. But fighting tradition is a difficult matter, so the group’s recommendations are unlikely to produce any changes, at least for the time being.
The Cascade-University of the Fraser Valley: Dick Move: Everything You Need To Know About Circumcision
A university student writes about male infant circumcision and how the practice grew to be an accepted part of North American culture. He addresses many factors that helped circumcision remain common, such as the nonsensical belief that circumcision is common so there must be a good reason for it. He debunks the common beliefs of health and hygiene.
The International Journal of Men’s Health has published the first study of its kind to look at the link between circumcision and the personality trait disorder alexithymia. The study, by Dan Bollinger and Robert S. Van Howe, M.D., M.S., FAAP, found that circumcised men are 60% more likely to suffer from alexithymia, the inability to process emotions. People suffering from alexithymia have difficulty identifying and expressing their feelings. This translates into not being able to imagine what others are feeling, leading to an inability to respond to others’ needs. If acquired at an early age, this might limit access to language and interfere with the socialization process that begins early in life. Moderate to high alexithymia can interfere with personal relationships and hinder therapy. Impulsive behavior is a key symptom of alexithymia, and impulsivity is a precursor to violence.
Think Africa Press: Circumcision is no Cure for HIV
Jonathan Friedman argues that the focus on sexual behaviour modification in African HIV policies has led to inefficient and unethical male circumcision campaigns in Africa.
The Healthy Bear: The Healthy Bear on Foreskin Restoration and How to Reverse Circumcision
An article about foreskin restoration from a doctor in Australia. He covers the different types of foreskin restoration and lists various sites of interest. But, sadly, he left out Restoring Foreskin.org He says, “doctors are now coming to understand the role the foreskin plays in protection of the glans during normal day to day activity, enabling ease of movement and increased sensitivity of the penis during intercourse.” It is about time doctors realized this. Now if he could just export some of those doctors from Australia to the US.
Ron Low, inventor of the TLC Tugger, discusses foreskin restoration, genital integrity and human rights.
